[/ux_text] [ux_text text_align=”center”]Most of us have somehow learned to believe that we need to work hard to prove our worth, earn a living, and achieve our desires. If we have been taught to excel, to over-achieve, chances are, we have also been taught to adhere to the values named, “the harder the better,” discipline, and stoicism.
The problem with this is that there is an inherent contradiction. If we learn that we are not worth much upon birth, we grow up thinking that we need to prove ourselves. Previous generations, with the good intention of ensuring our survival, have passed on these ideals, often through shaming, which has in turn conflicted with our evolved knowings that we are worthy simply because we exist.
[/ux_text] [gap height=”20px”] [ux_text text_align=”left”][lightbox id=”test” width=”600px” padding=”20px”]
As a result, people can easily end up leading contradicting lives where they repress or suppress their wants for fear of being rejected or abandoned, which can feel life-threatening. An old belief that many people hold is that they need to pretend in order to follow societal expectations. Another old idea is that we must “make things happen.” The less authentic we are, the bigger our problems get. The great news is that the more genuine we are, the more things can flow and be fun.
What does it mean to “allow your well-being?” It means exactly that, to let go in order to feel better than before. It means to not force things as well as to not need a desired outcome in order to feel good. At Allow Your Well-being we believe that we have all chosen to be here in this life and are thus responsible for our own lives and our own well-being.
Happiness comes from within. We want to guide our fellow humans in reconnecting with their true essence, which is love. The more we accept and love ourselves, the more we will do the same with others. Being at peace with ourselves, others, and circumstances, increases our joy moment by moment. The more we realize the power within, the more the outside (people and/or situations) reflects this inner dynamic.

[/ux_text] [ux_text text_align=”center”]Amanda was inspired at a very early age by the power of love, music being one of the very first avenues in which she channelled this abundant energy in her.
In 2009, she studied violin music performance at Florida State University. During that time, she was beginning to recognize many internalized messages that affected the perception of herself and the world. Amanda was faced with immense challenges around food and body image, which led her to courageously take her power back.
Amanda began a journey towards self-love and service for others. In 2013, she completed her bachelor degree in psychology at Florida State University.
Amanda set an intention to live harmoniously in her mind, body, and essence and inspire others to do the same. This intention soon led to her curiosity for powerlifting in the fall of 2013, which allowed her to feel more empowered physically.
[/ux_text] [ux_text text_align=”left”][lightbox id=”test6″ width=”600px” padding=”10px”]
She found a powerlifting community, where she began creating emotionally supportive content for Muscle and Strength Pyramids (books created by two 3D Muscle Journey coaches) in 2014.
She completed her masters in Counselor Education: Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Florida International University in 2017. After her graduate studies, she began working as a primary therapist for a dual diagnosis treatment center.
Eager to explore her internal and external world, Amanda moved to Los Angeles, CA and became a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in 2019. Soon after, Amanda joined 3D Muscle Journey, the natural bodybuilding coaching company, as the Mental Health Consultant. Amanda met her loving partner, Nadeshda, in early 2019. The two easily learned that their energies balanced perfectly not only in love, but also for business projects. In 2020, Amanda became co-owner of Love the Yoni, the sex positive board game created by Nadeshda. She and Nadeshda established Allow Your Well-being Group Practice where they can empower others to feel liberated and create their reality.

[/ux_text] [ux_text text_align=”center”]Nadeshda studied a couple of years abroad and created her BA individual major in modern languages (Spanish, French, and Italian), which she obtained through studying abroad for 2 years and completing it at La Sierra University (LSU) in 2003, when she settled back in the U.S. At the time, Nadeshda thought that money was “the root of all evil” so she felt compelled to take on the challenge and thus got her MBA, with an emphasis in marketing, also at LSU, in 2005.
Her next step was a sabbatical in B.C., Mexico, where she taught English at a private middle and high school. After which, she returned home (Southern California). Her inspiration to become a Psychotherapist also returned. At Argosy University, she set out to obtain a 2nd master’s degree (2010) and become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), which materialized when she passed her licensure exam in 2015.
In 2012, she was approached by a producer with a parapsychological project, since which, Nadeshda has studied and explored parapsychology while investigating many paranormal cases. The first purpose of which, is to rule-out rational or logical explanations. Further, she removes judgement and normalizes people’s experiences around this taboo subject, especially in mainstream psychology, where practitioners may be less familiar with paranormal phenomena and as a result be quick to label “psychosis.” These studies would soon lead her to study the power of the subconscious mind and become a Clinical Hypnotherapist (CHt) who graduated with honors from the Hypnosis Motivational Institute (HMI) in 2017.
[/ux_text] [ux_text text_align=”left”][lightbox id=”test5″ width=”600px” padding=”20px”]
Right before HMI, however, a car accident served as an opportunity for Nadeshda to go within. At which point, 3 key books collided with her conservative religious history and inspired her desire to set herself and others free to simply be in the context of sexuality. Thus, in 2016, Nadeshda created a sex-positive board game, which she Christened “Love the Yoni.” Since 2017, her passion for providing therapy grew into wanting to be of greater support for not just clients but fellow clinicians too as she blossomed into an insightful, nurturing, and empowering clinical supervisor.
In 2019, she met Amanda who eventually became her love and business partner. Although Nadeshda started her private practice under a clinical supervisor in 2012, it wasn’t until the close of 2020 that her desire for a group practice materialized as she and Amanda gave birth to Allow Your Well-being.
